I am a self-employed drawing artist based in the north of England who works particularly in biro. It is a medium I use in a way that feels unique to me. Although my drawings are usually in a series and work as a whole, each one has its own character. The main themes to my work evolve from environments around me, the social and historical aspects of an area appeal to me. I like to become involved with a place and form a personal relationship to it through research in achieves and personal experience. My recent works in Last Orders are focused around Preston, a place I became fascinated by when I moved there for university. Conceptual documentarian and the use of typologies are common features in work.
